La Crosse Skyrockers Public Service Announcement: Ushering in 2016!

Hey there, Skyrockers fans!

Many of you have contacted us after reading the article published in the La Crosse Tribune (which can be found here – thank you La Crosse Tribune!), concerned that we were changing our plans for the New Year’s Eve fireworks displays as well.

Let us assure you, the time-honored tradition of having an early-bird shoot at 6:00pm on December 31st, and firing our main display at the stroke of midnight, will both still be happening from atop the bluff!

Thank you all for your interest, and we look forward to putting on one heck of a show for you to usher in the year 2016!

2015 Nighly Countdown and Open House Update

*Note: Updated December 2nd to reflect change of location within Pettibone park.

Greetings Skyrockers Fans!

The La Crosse Skyrockers are gearing up for another count down to a new year!  We wanted to take a moment to share with you a couple of announcements:

*This year, we will be trying something new, by shooting from the bluff three nights a week, rather than every night; on the nights that we are not shooting from atop Granddad’s, we will be shooting from Pettibone Beach Park, right across the river from the giant light tree at the entrance to Rotary Lights!  The below calendar shows which days we will be at either location; the rule of thumb is that we will be on the bluff on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays; in Pettibone Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  All shoot times will be at 6:00 pm.

Also new this year, we have an easy to fill out form to sign up for a nightly shot!  Feel free to check it out at the following link: Nightly Shot 2015 Sign Up.  Be sure to make your entries early with a desired date and an alternate date you would like to shoot, as slots will likely fill up quickly! Take a look at our Event Calendar to check for open dates – we typically can have multiple groups a night, and we do multiple shots per group! Suggested donation is $25 per shot, with the proceeds going towards putting on the New Year’s show.  Don’t worry, if you do not see your appointment on the calendar yet, we just may have been too busy stuffing mortars to add it right away…  (wink, wink!)
